"I'm happy to be heading to Auto Club because it is the track that I have the most laps at on the 2019 Trans Am schedule; although, I have never been there in a tube chassis car, " driver Michele Abbate explains. The Grr Racing team established a respectful position off of qualifying at the previous round at Thunderhill Raceway but ran into some bad luck that ended up with a pit stop and tire change to get them back on the track to see the checkered flag.  Be sure to tune into www.gotransam.com for live timing throughout the weekend and follow Michele on social media for at the track updates.

Next weekend Abbate and the Grr Racing team will head north to Laguna Seca for one of the biggest events on the schedule.  It is a combination event, including both the Trans Am West series as well as the Trans Am National tour.  Over 28 TA2 cars have entered and Abbate stands as the only woman in the entire feild.  That race will be livestreamed and it will be an opportunity for some excellent exposure.  Vendor booth spaces are still available, so if your company is interested in setting up please contact Michele directly at michele@grrracing.com and she can provide you with more information.  Thank you for your continued support and wish us luck as we head into our 2nd start in the Trans Am series
